Plants & Building Workshop!

メフンへは、アルゼンチンのアーティスト、メルセ デス・ヴィラルバとジュリアン・ガットのコラボレーションプロジェクト。ガーデニングやドローイング、詩を書いたり、木材や見つけたもので何かを作るのが 好きな二人。誰もが、機会を与えられさえすれば、解決策をひらめく事ができるはず、との思いをもっています。現在、アーティストレジデンスで東京に滞在 中。NOW IDeA by UTRECHTにて、展示「Totemo」を開催しています。

●植物とお絵描きの日　3月29日（土）13:00～16:00
このワークショップでは、植物を 観察し、違いや似ている部分を見つけてゆきます。あなたが植物になるとしたら、どれがいい？海の底では、植物はどんなかっこうをしていますか？色々考え て、あたらしい植物をうみだし、私たちだけの植物の世界を作り出しましょう！植物の植え方も覚えます。（鉢植えから育て方まで）
また、お絵描きしたり、コスチュームを作ってダンスもしますよ！


●ものづくりと発明の日　4月5日（土）13:00～16:00
このワークショップでは、見慣れ たものを使って、みんなでものづくりをします。ものづくりは、ちょっとしたコツを学ぶ事で、とても簡単にできます。時には、重力のちからにまかせること で、のりやくぎすらいらないことだってあるのです！みんなで、どれだけたくさんものを倒さないように積めるかためしてみましょう。

ワークショップに参加するお子様には、スケッチブックが支給されます。絵、コラージュ、ひらめき、葉っぱ、草など、何でも挟んでお持ち帰りください！

Mejunje is the collaborative project of Argentine artists Mercedes Villalba and Julian Gatto. They like gardening, drawing, writing poetry and building things with wood and other found objects, because they believe that anyone can come up with creative solutions if they are given the chance. They are currently visiting Tokyo for an artist residency and have a show called Totemo in Now IDeA.

Plants and Drawing Day — 3/29 from 13:00 to 16:00
This workshop is about observing plants and trying to discover the differences between them, their similarities… Also, what plant would you be if you where a plant?, How do think plants look under the sea?... Let's make our own kingdom of plants and invent new species!
We'll learn how to make our own plants (pot them, plant them and propagate them), and we'll also draw, make customes and dance.

Building and Invention Day— 4/5 from 13:00 to 16:00
Art & Building day is for making things all together, using everyday things. Building is not that difficult and there's a few simple tricks to learn. Sometimes, you don't even need glue or nails to build something, gravity holds everything together! Let's find out how many things we can pile up before the fall down…

During the workshops each child will be provided with their own sketchbook to fill with drawings, collages, ideas, plant leaves, grass to take home.

For children from 5 to 10 years old.
Price per class (per child): ¥2500

The class wil be of 10 children maxium, so please make your reservation beforehand at futoshi@utrecht.jp

A Translator will be joining us too.
Workshops can de attended independently.

THE WORKSHOP IS DONE OUTDOORS AND WILL BE SUSPENDED IN CASE OF RAIN OR VERY BAD WEATHER.
